Belle Ting
Violin
"Her interpretation is bright and delicate... the upliftingly beautiful music flows. In the [Finale. Allegro energico], alongside noticeable joy of playing, the effortless playing is particularly noteworthy."

“A lyrical and scintillating performance... Ting projected a rich tone in her lower register, and showed impressive agility in complex passages: Her stage presence was as charming as her violin playing."
Cleveland Classical
Recognized for her charismatic and versatile performances, Belle Ting is invited to upcoming debuts at festivals such as La Folle Journée de Nantes and collaborating with prestigious orchestras across Europe and beyond, including the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Odense Symphony Orchestra, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and the Moscow State Philharmonic.
Born in Taipei, the Canadian violinist came to public attention after winning the Grand Prix at the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition in Belgium at the age of thirteen, and subsequently garnered top prizes at the International Cooper Violin Competition, International Brahms Competition, International Isaac Stern Competition, the International Khachaturian Competition, and the CARSA Rising Star Award.
She has performed at renowned venues including the Musikverein Wien and the Wiener Konzerthaus, as well as at events such as Festival Ravel, the Cziffra Foundation, and the Verbier Festival Academy. Her debut album, Impressions, explores the works of French Impressionism, and her performances have been broadcast on ORF, IDAGIO, Classic FM, and medici.tv.
Belle has received musical impulses from Sarah Nemtanu, Rainer Honeck, and Ivry Gitlis, who remarked: “She plays as if every piece was written for her.” She previously studied both chamber music and violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and received her Konzertexamen degree from the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.
